Slaughter House Five Part 2

As I progressed further through the pages of this book I realized that it was a good book, but I didn't enjoy it. It was written in a very slow paced style of writing and it could sometimes trail off into a specific subject that just got dull to read. The characters, I found, weren't very interesting and they did not grow on me. Although I say this, the book, I think, deserves its title of a classic. This is because it is  a very unique book and it shows a life style that is different and that is good for observing. Although I didn't enjoy this book, I would recommend it for someone with patience.

Slaughter House Five

Slaughter House Five, by Kurt Vonnegut, is a book that deserves the title of a classic. This book follows an elderly man, Billy Pilgrim. About twenty years ago he lived through the bombing of Dresden, but just the thought of it haunts him today. He questions his actions and others actions as he intensely searches for answers inside his own head. Soon Billy begins to question humanity and its actions as society's misunderstanding of him grows larger and larger. Using dark humor and a very casual style of writing Vonnegut creates a book with sorrow and laughter. This book is a pretty quick read, but Vonnegut can sometimes trail off into different subjects making it tough to follow and creating a slower paced style.

This book is a good read with laughter and sadness throughout its pages.
I recommend this book for anyone looking for a great book.

The Requiem Shark

The Requiem Shark:

This novel takes place on a pirate ship in the Caribbean that is hunting down another ship called the Juliette. The main character William Williams befriends the captain who makes Williams his biographer. This tail follows the crew through twists and turns in this epic novel. They face many problems and setbacks along their journey. This book contains a lot of graphic scenes with violence and adult content throughout.
I recommend this book for mature readers with a great sense of adventure.
