The Moment I Turned Normal

The crisp summer sun filled the bright car. My hands grasped the burning door handle and swung the door open. My long hair brushed the frame of the car door as I walked out. My vans crept over the sidewalk, my glasses fogging up with each step. A tattered hoodie was draped across my torso, and a pair of jeans hugged my legs tightly. I tightly grasped the handle of the door and stepped into the cool, dark room. The air conditioning immediately hit me, and the cold air immediately washed through my long locks. My barber approached asking what type of haircut I would like.
CUT IT ALL OF. The ceremonial scissor was raised and the first bit of hair fell to the floor.

A special thanks to Julia Michele Obama Chavez Vesuala Johnson Goslleeeee Podz Fort Collins Klein Buendal Gonzales, for inspiration, and to my barber.
